During the production of the project, I ran the camera, managed the audio levels using the camera’s VU meter, and edited the entire project together. During the script writing, I came up with and wrote the entire script, giving creative freedom to the actor’s by having them decide their names.
After completing all of the other video assignments I learned multiple things. I learned that lighting is my biggest enemy, but I learned that when I think the shot is bright, make it brighter. I also learned how to use specific audio effects, such as de-noise and chroma key, to help produce better audio quality in louder, larger scenes and to remove green screen backgrounds. After all of this work, I think the best part of my video would have to be its creativity as it was very different and was pretty hard to shoot for a first-year student. I think the only thing I would change would be how much green screen usage I needed. It was extremely difficult to understand and probably should have waited until I was more familiar with Premiere.
